Many people have reported that a series of problems appeared soon after the charger was bought? Are these questions really 'problematic'? The following are some common sense. After understanding, the 'problem' will be solved easily ~
1、 When charging, the power indicator is on and the charging indicator is orange
First, please check whether the output plug of the charger and the charging plug of the battery box are plugged tightly. If it is confirmed that there is no problem, check whether the fuse tube on the battery box is open circuit or the fuse base is loose and has poor contact. In addition, some models need to open the battery lock before charging. If all the above faults are eliminated, consider whether the charger output line is open circuit. Use the multimeter voltage gear (200V gear) to measure the no-load output voltage of the power supply, which should be 41-44v (equipped with 36V battery, which varies according to the charger). If not, the charger output line may be open circuit. Turn on the charger and change an output line to eliminate the fault. Note: when replacing the charger output line, be sure not to connect the positive and negative poles of the original machine reversely.
2、 The power indicator is not on and the charging indicator is not on
Check whether the charger input power plug is well connected with the mains power supply. Plug the charger input plug into a normal power socket and try it. If the situation is still the same, open the charger shell and observe whether the fuse in the machine is broken. If not, first check whether the power input line is in good condition. After troubleshooting the power input line, check whether the components near the high-voltage area on the circuit board are faulty, Check whether the fuse holder has poor contact, and focus on whether the transformer T1, triode V1 and V2 have false welding. In addition, R5 or R6 open circuit will also cause the above faults. If the fuse in the machine is broken, do not replace the large ampere fuse tube (the fuse tube of the charger is generally 2a). Focus on checking whether D1-D4, V1, V2, R4, R7, D15 and D21 are damaged. If damaged, replace them with the same type. Please note that when the above components are damaged, one or two may be damaged at the same time, and sometimes several may be damaged at the same time. During maintenance, it is necessary to check and replace these components one by one before power on.
3、 Severe heating and even shell burning deformation
This is mainly the fault caused by the looseness of some components often carried by some users. The main manifestations are as follows: when C18 is loose and soldered, it will cause abnormal working conditions of V1 and V2 and great heat. In serious cases, the charger shell will be deformed and the circuit board will be charred, resulting in damage to V1 and V2. C18 can be soldered again and V1, V2, R4 and R7 can be checked. If the fault cannot be eliminated, check whether there is an open circuit in D15 and D21. In addition, the output rectifier of some manufacturers adopts a double diode, one of which is open circuit, which also causes the above fault. Sometimes the fault will damage one of V1 and V2. It needs to be checked and replaced at the same time.
4、 High calorific value with abnormal sound
The fault is caused by the damage of output stage vibration damping capacity R31 and C17. In addition, C12 open circuit or faulty welding will also cause the above faults.
5、 There is abnormal noise during operation and the battery cannot be charged
Check whether C8 on the circuit board has faulty soldering or damage. Generally, replacing C8 can be solved.
6、 There is abnormal sound during operation, and the power indicator and charging indicator are dark and flashing
The cause of the fault is that IC1 is damaged. Be careful not to damage the copper foil of the printed board. After the replacement is normal, adjust R28 to make the output voltage of the charger within the normal working range
